Maitri Farm is now certified by the Real Organic Project!
Maitri Farm is taking organic produce to the next level. While our vegetables are already USDA certified, we are proud to announce we are now Real Organic Certified as well. This certification is an even higher growing standard that prioritizes food grown in soil and not hydroponically. Working with the Real Organic Project fortifies our goals and ethics in being stewards of the land.
The Real Organic Project inspects and tests soil to ensure it is a biologically active substrate for the best vegetables and supports farmers who are working hard to keep the land healthy. This is a more sustainable practice and unites growers across the country who share the common goal of true organic farming as it was intended.
